Hi Ho Hi Ho….

It’s off to the dentist I go.  I have one word for that and it is YUCK!  I really hate going to the dentist.  I hate the cleaning which actually only takes about 20 minutes.  It is just the thought of psyching myself up to go.  Since I had the radiation last year I have to see the dentist every 3 months, so double YUCK on that.

After all of the storms we had the last week or so today is beautiful!  Sunny and a high in the 70s.

canton storm

This photo was taken   by Cory Bitner of Monday  night's storm in Canton, IL  Canton is located about 20 miles from here.  I don’t want any more storms for awhile.  I do think it is an awesome picture though.

Have a great day, enjoy the sunny cool day, or if it is still hot and humid where you are the cool down is coming.  If you are one of my Australian friends I know you already have a cool down.

Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  1. I loathe going to the dentist. It's torture LOL. It's just something about having drills and tools near one's mouth. No thanks!

  4. I don't like the dentist either. Our daughter is the one who does most of the poking and prodding at the office I go to and even so, I'm always nervous and uptight until it's over. You should buy yourself a goodie for going.

  5. I'm no fan of the dentist either Beth, it's one of those necessary evils. Glad you are having some sunshine.

  6. Though you hate going, you are doing it and that is a very good thing! Now treat yourself to something fun for being such a good girl.

  7. I am sure you'll be glad to put the dentist appointment behind you. Our weather cleared up too and now the smoke from fires in Canada is here...ugh! That's an awesome lightning photo there...wow!

  13. I love that picture! Storms are coming our way. From the west and from off the coast of Florida. The Boston Pops and fireworks will be on the 3rd instead of the 4th. Stay tuned for a slideshow of the pictures I took on the whale watch.
Thank you Beth for all your support. You're the BEST!

  17. Hi Beth!
Are you going back to the dentist but only short time..I had my tooth implants for last year as same time with yours and ours friind as well.
The most interesting thing was that I ate a lot less then I'd expected.
We has cold winter time and too many raining days that I doon't like very much.
I think about your state of paranoia about food and dilding!
I love your ways works hard with all over in your garden.
    Have a nice day!

  19. Our dentist appointments are always ending up with having to get caps at $1600 a pop. She keeps saying that the old fillings are crumbling or broken and infection or something is setting in. It's always a break the bank time for us. Cleanings I can handle, but the dentist is trying to exhaust our savings. Ugh! Anyway it is over for you for another three months. Have a better tomorrow. :) Bertie

  20. Well I expect your visit to the dentist is over by now...so it's in the past.
Yes, it's chilly down here, but I also appreciate the heat and relief from it.

  21. Away with the storms . . . happening non shop north up the shoreline into Michigan too . . . makes for soggy sod around here.
Happy your dental visit is over again for another three months!

  23. I hate the dentist, too--and am overdue. *sigh*
Love the lightning photo. I can never catch them with my camera. Not fast enough, I guess. Lovely shot!

  24. That’s a lovely photo of a stormy cloud. I love how it captured the lightning in a very dynamic way. Anyway, may I ask why you just hate visiting the dentist? Haha! But it’s nice that you’re still going through with the visit even if you’re not really psyched up for it. I guess you really care about your oral health. :D

  27. I hope you've recovered from your trip to 'the tooth mechanic' as my husband called it, sounds worse than dentist, doesn't it.

  29. Hope all went well. It is important.
The rain we have had in northern IL has been more than plentiful. Not the drought of two years ago.
