Good Morning Sunshine…

Well, it is partly sunny.  I see the sun peeking out from behind the clouds  once in awhile.   The temp is to reach 38 degrees today.

I did not want to get up this morning.  One of those mornings when I really had to force myself to get up.  At least it is getting light a little bit earlier each morning.  That will change on March 10th when we go on daylight savings time.  I am not a fan of daylight savings time as I can see no point in wanting it to stay light out until  9 PM.  Now when I was young it was a different story.

I saw the tax accountant yesterday and dropped my pile of stuff in his hands.  He sends a question form for us to fill out each year.  I didn’t fill it out this year.  He charges way enough money that I figured he could do that himself.  I don’t have all of the stuff to contend with like I did before I sold my house and I could probably do it myself in a few minutes if I wasn’t so lazy.

Because of the power outage  (thanks Beyonce) my DVR recorded an hour of the Super Bowl instead of Elementary which is one of my favorite new shows.  Rather aggravating!

I need to get a move on as I have an appointment for a hair cut this morning.  Fingers crossed!!

I hope you all have a great week.  Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  2. A new haircut is a good reason for getting up. Now that my hair looks like a mop, I should be thinking of the same thing. I will welcome Daylight Savings Time...wonder if I will change my mind some day.

  7. It's been warmer here with sun that seldom shows itself...I guess we can't always have the best of both worlds. Can you imagine daylight savings coming up like that? Wow! I hope you love your haircut my friend, have a great day!

Question if you don't mind-I have been trying to put a similar countdown button on my blog. I followed the directions but I just can't get it on-any tips or hints to make it work?
Thanks and have a good week.

  12. It's a cloudy, dreary day here today...20 some degrees and windy. But I had a hair cut this morning and that made my day brighter. Hope you have a good one.

  13. I am no fan of DST, either! I prefer my daylight in the morning hours. I was up at 6:00 this morning as I had many things to do today. Now I feel like it is time for a nap. How do you like your haircut?

  14. Wish a little sunshine would pop out here my me.
I'm not a fan of moving the time back either and never have been. I think we should just leave it alone. I'd like to move to AZ where they don't!!!

  17. Hi Beth, Just stopping by to see how you are doing, and check to see if the count down was on for Spring. Wow! 41 days to go.I am sure ready to welcome Spring whenever she gets here.
It is nice that the days are getting longer, and it is still light out when I get home from work. Longer days means I will soon have more time to get out with my camera once again.
Well you take care and have a great week.
    Hugs,Dianne :)

  19. I wish they would leave the time one way or the other so we wouldn't all have to adjust every time it changes.

"Thanks Beyonce"....you kill me, Beth. That was just exactly what I said when the lights went out. All her special effects just sucked the juice right out of that stadium! lol

  22. Like Nancy said "Taxes, ugh." Rather pleasent here at the moment but that will change.
Haircuts. I come from the 60's generation, my father was a barber. It wasn't easy to grow my hair long, but I ended up doing that as my father gave up. Now I say, just cut it short.
