Breakfast anyone?

My breakfast…at Wild Berries

003

My daughter’s breakfast…

Contrary to popular opinion I did not have a colonoscopy this morning.  I had a renal ultrasound to check my kidneys and the arteries leading to my kidneys for blockage.  The day before diet and no breakfast are so the technician doesn’t have to listen to gas on your stomach.  Have you ever noticed that the blood pumping when they are doing an ultrasound sounds like an ocean?

I didn’t eat but a small part of my breakfast.  One piece of bacon, a few bites of the eggs and biscuits and gravy.  My daughter who is young and healthy polished off every bite of hers.

Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  1. I lost a kidney due to a blocked artery (this was all a result of a car accident). I am grateful I have the other one! I hope your results are good. The breakfast looks wonderful!

  10. Hi Beth,

Breakfast sounds good, not sure about gravy with eggs though. I have just come back from a carvery meal for Martin's birthday. It was good, but I think we all ate too much.

    Take Care,

    Hugs Nita

  12. Well, I certainly did incorrectly "read" what you were facing today!:) I am never very excited about having any procedure that requires I miss a meal, however.

  25. Well that breakfast was certainly a darn good substitute for that horrible drink you have before a colonoscopy, I can't make out what the white lumpy stuff was, looks like mushrooms in sauce or something. I, like all your friends hope things will be all OK. take care of yourself
